Editor(s) used : Wintex/4.3,Dehacked/3.0a,3dStudio/4,Photoshop/3.0, DCK/3.0. Tested : Only tested on DOOM2 version 1.9 Time : About a weeks work and then some! The Cyborg was first modelled in 3D Studio then rendered up as a series of small bitmaps.These were then cleaned up and cropped with Photoshop and made into a the wad using Wintex. Phew! ============================================================================ * Where to get this WAD * http://www.vr21.com/doom_wall/ ============================================================================ * Installation * 1/ This WAD works with DOOM2 however,it cannot be used directly with the DOOM2 -file xyz.wad routine until you have installed the rest of the sprites into Cyborg.wad first. This is done simply by placing Cyborg.wad, Display.wad, Cyborg.deh, Install.bat, Deusf.exe and Dehacked.exe (I`m not able to distribute dehacked.exe with these files but it can be found at http://www.vr21.com/doom_wall/) into your Doom2 directory and then typing install :- C:\GAMES\DOOM2>INSTALL This will take some seconds, be patient. Doomhack.exe will be created containing the Cyborg`s properties. Play.bat and Restore.bat will also be created. If you want tough Cyborg`s and for ease of use Play.bat can then be used :- C:\GAMES\DOOM2>PLAY Alternatively if you want to check out the Cyborg`s with display.wad just use:- C:\GAMES\DOOM2>DOOMHACK -FILE CYBORG.WAD DISPLAY.WAD 2/ Warning: Keep the Cyborg`s tough for network games! Rename doomhack.exe to doom2.exe, but first don`t forget to move the original Doom2.exe somewhere safe! This is true if you use SETUP, IPXSETUP or SERSETUP. Cyborg.wad can then be added for multiplayer as follows:- C:\GAMES\DOOM2>IPXSETUP -FILE CYBORG.WAD 3/ Just type restore to uninstall.
